I remember going on a field trip in kindergarten to Earl's house, which was across the street from Arlington Grade School. It was a big piece of property that our teacher billed as a farm. I recall Earl hanging by his knees from an apple tree.
Craig and I were close friends for 57 years, ever since working together as boxboys at The Lively Market on Oakes Street when we were 16. Craig came from a great longtime South Tacoma family. He was absolutely trustworthy and he would do anything to help a friend. He will be missed by the many, many people he befriended through the years.
Happy Birthday Pat

Hi Rita. It was fun talking with you Saturday. I'll be looking for you at Fred Meyer since that's where I shop. -- Pat
Very sad to hear that Pat has passed. He was a good friend and talented artist who attended Visitation Grade Schoool with me. I spent a lot of summer hours working in his family's blueberry field in South Tacoma. I was hoping to see him again at the reunion.
Jim was one of my good friends in high school, and was my roommate during my sophomore year at Washington State. He was a kind and generous man who worked hard and went on to become the head of the Green River Killer task force. His funeral in Seattle was the most well-attended funeral I've ever seen.
